USE OF ANTIOXIDANTS FOR PRESERVATION OF STURGEON CELLS
Abstract
The article deals with low temperature conservation of Russian sturgeon sperm cryoprotectant activity of an additive of phosphorus compounds with a sterically hindered phenolic fragment into the base protective medium. It highlights the correlation of effectiveness of cryoprotectant activity of the examined compounds with some degree of reduction in lipid peroxidation rate of fish sperm. It studies the possibility of the use of antioxidants data as modifiers of cryoprotectant activity of cryosolution in order to prevent free radical oxidation and to preserve the biological perfection of sturgeon sperm.
