¬EPIDEMIC POLYMORPHISM AND CONTROL OF AFRICAN SWINE FEVER

Abstract


The systematic review is dedicated to peculiarities of the natural history of African swine fever, systematized patters of epidemic situations. In the context of the topic there were realistic pathways of spread and eradication of the infection, and control scenarios are described in the paper.Economic aspects of programs for African swine fever eradication under different conditions and their results are demonstrated. The scientific and practical relevance and prospects in the modern natural history of infectious diseases and modern epizootic situation for ASF in the Russian Federation have been paid special attention in the conclusion.
