Abstract

The relative constancy of metabolism is supported by many factors in the rumen and it is aimed primarily at the efficient implementation of a symbiotic relationship between the organism of ruminant and microorganisms that inhabit its entire digestive tract, especially rumen. In the rumen, regulatory mechanisms of metabolic processes under influence of exogenous factors: effect of monensine on ammoniagenesis, toxic and protective influence (pentachlorophenol and clinoptilolite, respectively) in the bacterial cells are discussed.
